The focus appears to be very much on stimulating growth, particularly through small business and investment in child care to help working families.
Not surprisingly the axe has been taken to foreign aid, with assistance to Africa cut by 70% and Indonesia by 40%, both representing significant savings to Australians.
Infrastructure funding has seen northern Australia get a boost whilst there's been no new promises beyond what was announced last year.
